Bright Star!

So, I know it's been nearly two weeks since I posted a blog.  Last week was hectic and this week I'm recuperating from last week.

I turned in my last Final paper for my American Lit., class.  I am officially done taking classes.  It's a bittersweet situation but I'm trying not to dwell on it as I still have some work to do on my Thesis before I can officially graduate.

I am working on a new blog but it's taking more time than I anticipated so hopefully that will be up soon.

I'm leaving you with my favorite poem by John Keats, "Bright Star" written in 1819.

Bright star!  would I were steadfast as thou art--
Not in lone splendour hung aloft the night,
And watching, with eternal lids, apart,
Like Nature's patient sleepless Eremite,
The moving waters at their priestlike task
Of pure ablution round earth's human shores,
Or grazing on the new soft fallen mask
Of snow upon the mountains and the moors--
No--yet still steadfast, still unchangeable,
Pillow'd upon my fair love's ripening breast,
To feel for ever its soft fall and swell,
Awake for ever in a sweet unrest,
Still, still to hear her tender-taken breath,
And so live ever--or else swoon to death.
