Weesha's World: Fortune Cookie Truths

Every time I have Chinese food after I've read my fortune from my cookie I put the slip of paper into a pocket in my wallet. I've been doing this for about four years now.

Today I decided to pull the fortunes out and take a look at what I had. After leafing through them I've come up with a couple of inevitable truths.

1. Like snowflakes there are no two fortunes the same.

2. Some such as, "Gold is in your future" are empty promises either that or my definition of what constitutes gold is too limited.

3. Fortune cookies can give some really great advice, "Trust others, but still keep your eyes open."

A Welcome Message....

Greetings Blog Readers and Welcome to Weesha's World,

I'm sure you're all wondering "What's with the name." Well, it started years ago, when my friend's four year old son mispronounced my name. Years later his pronunciation improved and he no longer calls me Weesha. His mother, however, loves to call me Weesha, McWeesha, The Weeshaness and so on. To be honest, of all the nicknames I could have I think I lucked out with Weesha.

I'm not sure yet what Weesha's World will shape into. I do know that it will, of course, be concerned with all things Weesha including writing, books, movies, cats, friends and probably a few other things that haven't occured to me yet.
